PresenTenseLA is The Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles' installment of PresenTense’s Community Entrepreneur Partnership, which is an 8-month long fellowship that engages local innovators and professionals in cooperative ventures. The goal of this fellowship is to equip Jewish social entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial professionals in LA with the tools, networks and resources they need to build and sustain successful ventures that provide meaningful avenues for engagement and impact. The program intends to create a community devoted to inspiring and supporting social entrepreneurship and innovation in LA, thereby affecting the greater LA community and the world.
Each PresenTenseLA Fellow is matched with an experienced coach who works with the Fellow on their deliverables and acts as a sounding board for their development. Our founder has been coaching Rabbi Rachel Bat-Or on her JQ International Warmline project in preparation for the upcoming launch.
Shining a light on LA’s Jewish social entrepreneurs, Launch Night is the culmination of the Fellows’ hard work. Next Wednesday, the Fellows will pitch and present their ventures to the LA community. If you would like more information about PresenTenseLA or you are in LA and would like to attend on Wednesday, May 21st, please visit: http://www.presentensela.org/launchnight.html.
